Fiumicino (FCO) โ Rome's main international airport, 32 km south-west of the city. Handles long-haul, intercontinental and most European routes. Four terminals; the Leonardo Express train to Termini runs every 30 minutes (โฌ14).
Ciampino (CIA) โ compact budget-carrier airport 15 km south-east of Rome. Served by Ryanair and Wizz Air. No train link; shuttle buses to Termini take 40 minutes. Private transfer is the most convenient option for most visitors.
