Booking & Payment

What Happens at the Airport

For airport arrivals (you are flying IN): your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name sign showing your name. Your flight is monitored in real time, so your driver knows exactly when you land — even if your flight is delayed.

For airport departures (you are flying OUT): your driver picks you up from your hotel or address at the agreed time. You should share your flight number when booking so the driver can plan the optimal departure time.

Pricing & Cancellation Policy

All prices shown on TellMyTaxi are fixed — per vehicle, not per person. There are no hidden charges, no luggage surcharges, and no extra fees for standard waiting time after a delayed flight (up to 60 minutes for standard vehicles, 90 minutes for Luxury Class).

Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your pick-up time for Sedan, MPV, Premium Sedan, Minivan, and Minibus transfers. Luxury Class transfers require 48 hours notice for free cancellation.

Child Seats, Pets & Special Requirements

Child seats are available for all vehicles except Minibus. Please request a child seat at the time of booking and specify the age and weight of the child so the appropriate seat is fitted.

Pets in carriers are generally accepted — please mention this when booking. Large pets may require a minivan booking.

Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available on request — please contact support directly to arrange.

How far in advance should I book my Italy airport transfer?

We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance. During peak summer season (June–September) and Christmas/New Year, booking 3–7 days ahead is advisable to guarantee vehicle availability.

What is included in the price?

All transfers include: driver with name sign in arrivals, flight monitoring, 60 minutes free waiting time, one price displayed before booking (no surcharges for luggage, night, or standard delays), and free cancellation (24h).

What if there are more passengers than expected?

All vehicles have a maximum passenger capacity. If additional passengers join the transfer, a vehicle upgrade may be required. Please contact support if your group size changes after booking.

Can I book a return transfer at the same time?

Yes — you can book both your arrival and departure transfers in the same session. Just complete two separate bookings and add both to your cart.

What languages do drivers speak?

All TellMyTaxi drivers speak basic English. For professional English-speaking drivers, please request this when booking. Drivers in major tourist areas typically have good communication skills.
